Employment and Skills Senior Manager (Digital Skills) at Leeds City Council

Silicon Yorkshire is a great initiative for providing a networking and collaboration space for likeminded tech employers to come together on a range of subjects, helping them and each other to grow in a supportive ecosystem.

A key part of my work within Employment & Skills at Leeds City Council looks to support employers in the digital and tech sector with workforce talent needs, understanding what skills are needed and helping to inspire the workforce of the future by linking digital and tech employers with young people. My role focuses on increasing a diverse talent pool for tech careers by engaging with a range of community groups and emerging talent.

I am excited to be part of Silicon Yorkshire to be able to share ideas with a variety of tech organisations, to innovate and collaborate on skills and engagement initiatives.
